Block Technique Coloring with Photoshop

1 tutorial~

I’m trying to make an usefull post here….*well,  just a practice post i think..*

since I’m not very good with anything, I’m going to make a tutorial about block technique coloring with photoshop. *here we go..*

1) prepare a scans or picture with photoshop.

my example scans

2) start with the basic color.

tools : paint bucket & Lasso

use the lasso tool to select the area, then color it with the paint bucket tool

basic coloring : done

3) make a new layer for the second base coloring. The shadow layer.

use the lasso tool to select the shadow area, and color it with the paint bucket

4) create a new layer for the light shadow.

use the same step to make the light reflection

and the main steps are done . ~

//for the finishing touch.

~) hit ctrl+shift+E to merge all the layer.

~) right click the layer and choose duplicate layer.

~) click on the filter tab and choose blur > gaussian blur

~) Click on layer 1 copy, and set the opacity level.
